Pelling is a small hill town in the district of West Sikkim, India. Pelling is nestled at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 feet). The town is located at a distance of 10 km from the district headquarters of Geyzing and 131 km from Gangtok.
Darjeeling is a city and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal. It lies in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 2,000 metres (6,560 ft). It is noted for its tea industry, its scenic views of the world’s third-highest mountain Kangchenjunga, and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a narrow-gauge mountain railway which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges
Day - 1 : NJP Rly. Stn. / IXB Airport – Gangtok (About 125 kms / 04 Hrs. drive)
On arrival at NJP Railway station / IXB airport welcome to our Representative & transfer to Gangtok . On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day free at leisure. Night halt at Gangtok.
Day - 2 : Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir-New)
This Morning start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is almost about 1Km long & 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, Further 12Kms visit the Baba Harvajan Singh Mandir. Afternoon back to the hotel. Night halt at Gangtok. (Nathula Pass optional)
Day - 3 : Gangtok local city tour
This Morning after breakfast visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tak, Hanuman Tak, Enchey Monastery, Bonjhakri Falls, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Evening free at Leisure or you can enjoy shopping by own. Night halt at Gangtok.
Day - 4 : Gangtok to Pelling via Chardham (About 132 Kms / 05 Hrs. drive)
This morning after breakfast drive to Pelling (6800 ft. / 132 KM) via Chardham a new pilgrimage point evening check-in to your hotel. Night halt at Pelling.
Day - 5 : Pelling sightseeing
After breakfast 8.30 A.M start for local sightseeing tour covering Rimbi Falls, Rimbi rock Garden, Khangchendzonga falls, Khachoedpalri Wish Lake. Afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Rabdantse View Point, Helipad Ground. Night halt at Pelling.
Day - 6 : Pelling - Darjeeling (About 120 Kms /04 Hrs. drive)
This morning drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & Rest of the day free at Leisure or you can enjoy shopping by own. Night halt at Darjeeling.
Day - 7 : Darjeeling City tour
Early Morning at 4.00 am visit Tiger hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khanchendzongna), on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After breakfast half day city tour covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Pace Pagoda, Japanese Temple & Rope Way (Ticket Guest Own). Afternoon you can enjoy shopping by own. Night halt at Darjeeling.
Day - 8 : Darjeeling – NJP Rly. Stn./IXB airport (About 90 kms / 03 Hrs. drive)
Morning free for packing & personal activities. After breakfast Check out from hotel and transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey. TOUR ENDS HERE
