Kaziranga National Park (Assamese: [কাজিৰঙা]) is a national park in the Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Nagaon districts of the state of Assam, India. The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site.[2] According to the census held in March 2018 which was jointly conducted by the Forest Department of the Government of Assam and some recognized wildlife NGOs, the rhino population in Kaziranga National Park is 2,413. It comprises 1,641 adult rhinos (642 males, 793 females, 206 unsexed); 387 sub-adults (116 males, 149 females, 122 unsexed); and 385 calves.[3]
Day - 1 : ARRIVAL AT GUWAHATI AIRPORT/STATION-KAZIRANGA
Welcome on arrival in Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5 hrs drive). Check in Hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga. Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. Day - 2 : KAZIRANGA
Early morning go for Elephant ride @5-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M. (Subject to operation and allotment from forest department) . Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora . Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day - 3 : KAZIRANGA –GUWAHATI AIRPORT
After Breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport (250 kms/5 hrs drive). TOUR ENDS HERE
