The ancient Buddhist monasteries, largely tucked in the mountains and dating back thousands of years, add to its outstanding beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. This must be one of the most sensational flights in the
World. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peak of
K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel
you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun peak. Upon arrival, you will greet by our
representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Half-day for rest and leisure to
acclimatize. Evening visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast, you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start
your sightseeing with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a
visit for everyone, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a Sikh temple about 22
km from Leh. It was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak. A drive of another 4 km will take us to
Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills just before
Nimmu Village, there comes the famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from
Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for
its famous Chadar Trek.After visiting confluence we head to Alchi Gompa,
The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries
and dates back to the 11th century. After visiting Alchi we back towards Leh en-route visiting the
spituk monastery. Later we drive back to Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest
Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over
the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra
Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and
Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
Upon arrival in Nubra, we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for an Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny
villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Enjoy a double hump camel ride in the sand dunes and witness a cultural
show by the locals in traditional dress. Overnight Stay at the Camp.

Day 4: After breakfast drive to Turtuk village which was first time opened for the tourist in the year 2010. It is a
popular place captured by Indians in the war of 1972 with Pakistan. The village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti
villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. On a clear day, you may also have a glimpse of the mighty K2
mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Reach Hunder by evening. Overnight in Hunder, Nubra Valley.

Day 5: After an early breakfast, we check out from Camp and drive towards Pangong Lake. It is indeed a strange sight since
immediately on the left of the road is the Rocky Mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be
seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of the Nubra Valley. Stroll around the
bazaar observing the shops and continue your drive to the most famous lake. Overnight near Pangong lake.

Day 6: Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake and later we
drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486m, (the third highest motorable road in the world) enroute visiting Thiksey monastery
resembles the Potala in Lhasa, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms
Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh. Drive further to Leh and
check-in at your hotel Overnight.

Day 7: On-time transfer to the airport by our representatives for your onward
destination. Your trip comes to an end with the best memories of Ladakh.

Know Before You Go for Leh Ladakh Trip

All travelers including co-travelers must carry 2 passport size photo and 2 photocopies of valid id proof along with the originals(voter id, passport, driving license, are only accepted). Travelers are recommended to share Soft copies with the tour operator on official WhatsApp chats/groups at least 3 days prior to the trip.

Spot your Destination reserves the right to rearrange or change the itinerary if possible for various reasons that are beyond control like natural calamity, weather conditions, roadblocks, etc.

Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.

Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 liters as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.

As per North guidelines, Vehicles are not on disposal & may not deviate from the itinerary unless any issue occurs such as bad weather, Political/social disturbances, roadblocks, VVIP movements & state transport rule prohibition. Transport services are from point to point only.

Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions is comparatively less and there are long queues at times.

Please note that BSNL and Airtel Postpaid mobile connections are operational and roaming Prepaid SIMs are non-functional in Ladakh.

We work with local guides and leaders who have the expertise of the region. They are fluent in Hindi and Ladakhi and at times even English.

All the travelers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.

If in case any traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Spot your Destination will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities or sightseeing may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try to provide an alternate feasible activity when it’s possible. A refund may not be applicable & we may not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, roadblocks, bad weather, etc

Any sightseeing point which is not completed due to time constraints, traffic jams, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late, or any other reason beyond control, Spot your destination does not take the liability for a refund or a discount.

Real-time cancellation is not entertained due to any reasons whatsoever. There will be no refund applicable. The rescheduling date of travel is treated as a cancellation. 100% of the tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee due to charges levied in pre-planning & pre-bookings.
